广西民族印刷厂始建于1916年，其前身是上海大东书局，大东书局是20世纪初中国四大书局之一，集出版与印刷于一身。1956 年整厂从上海迁到南宁，经过五十多年的建设，现在广西民族印刷厂已发展成为广西规模、设备的书刊、彩色综合印刷企业，隶属广西出版出版传媒集团。广西民族印刷厂作为定点书刊印刷企业，一直承担着广西大部分中小学教材、教辅的印刷任务，为广西的文化教育事业作出了应有的贡献。 企业经营范围：出版物印刷、包装装潢印刷、其他印刷品印刷；印制纸和纸制品商标、设计、制作印刷品广告。 人员结构：广西民族印刷厂目前在职职工710人，其中研究生学历5人，中专以上学历190人，高中级职称39人，技师2人，技师51人，工120人，中级工90人。 资产及生产场地：广西民族印刷厂厂区占地面积109.2亩，资产总值1.98亿元。
